Editing an Existing Report Footer

To edit an existing report footer:

  1. On the Manage Report Footers page, click Edit in the Action column associated with the footer you want to edit. The Edit Report Footer page displays with the effective date and the text of the footer you chose to edit.
  2. Before typing, you can Clear, Delete, or Cancel.
  3. Click Clear to delete the effective date and all of the text in the Footer Text: text box.
  4. After clicking Clear, you can click Revert to undo the action clearing the text. The existing effective date and text displays.
  1. Edit the footer by changing the effective date, typing new text, or replacing current text.
  2. To change the effective date, click in the Effective Date box so the calendar displays. Click a new date for the footer to start being used. The new date replaces the existing date in the Effective Date text box.
  3. After editing the effective date or the text in the text box, you can Clear, Revert, Save, Delete, or Cancel.
  4. ClickClear to delete the effective date and all of the text in the text box.
  5. Click Revert to undo the edits or clear that you just made. The existing effective date and text (without any of your edits) displays.
  6. Click Save to save the new version of your footer. You return to the Manage Report Footers page, where your footer is listed with the edits you made.
  7. Click Delete to delete the footer. The confirmation message "Are you sure you want to delete this report footer? This operation cannot be undone." displays.
  8. Click OK to delete the footer and return to the Manage Report Footers page, where your footer is no longer listed.
  9. Click Cancel to keep the footer and return to the Edit Report Footer page.
