Searching for an Investment

You have three options for selecting an investment:

If you have access to 15 or less investments, use the investment drop-down menu.
If you have access to more than 15 investments, use the search feature or the investment pop-up box.

Note: The specific number of investments for the cut-off may vary. See your iPAS Administrator for more information.

To search for an investment:

Click Search next to the Investment field. A search page displays.
To locate an investment, select any combination of search options from the drop-down menus:
Fund Code, Fund Name, Position ID, Position Name
Equals, Begins With, Contains, Ends With

Type a number, word, or phrase for which you wish to search in the blank Search text box.
Click Search. Investments that match your criteria display.
Click Select to choose the investment you are looking for. The Fund Code and Position ID populate the Investment text box.

To search for an investment using the pop-up box:

Choose one of the following options:
To search by Fund Code, type a number followed by a dash (-) in the Investment text box. The investments with that number at the beginning of their Fund Code will display in a pop-up box.
To search by Position ID, type a number (with no dash) in the Investment text box. The investments with that number at the beginning of their Position ID will display in a pop-up box.
To search by Fund Code and Position ID, type the number at the beginning of the Fund Code followed by a dash and the number at the beginning of the Position ID in the Investment text box. The investments with those numbers at the beginning of their Fund Code and Position ID will display in a pop-up box.
Click on the investment you want to select. The Fund Code and Position ID populate the Investment text box.
