Making a Withdrawal

Note: Making a withdrawal is an optional transaction. See your iPAS Administrator for more information.

To withdraw cash from a fund:

  1. From the Home page, click Withdrawal. The Withdrawal page displays.
  2. Use the Investment drop-down menu, search function, or investment pop-up box to select an investment from which to withdraw cash. After making your selection, the investment balance information displays under the investment name. 

Note: If you previously selected a default investment, this account information automatically displays. See Setting Your Default Investment for instructions.

  1. Use the Payment Method drop-down menu to select the method in which method in which the cash will be withdrawn. Your options will vary depending on the investment you are working with. See your iPAS Administrator for an explanation of your payment method options.
  2. The first available effective date automatically populates based on the Payment Method you selected in Step 3. If you wish to change the date of the deposit, click in the Effective Date box and choose an eligible date from the calendar that displays.
  1. Type the withdrawal amount in the Withdrawal Amount text box.

Note: If desired, you can type K to denote thousands and M to denote millions. For example, 1K translates as 1,000 and 3M translates as 3,000,000.

  1. If desired, type a note that describes the transaction in the Transaction Description text box.
  2. Click Submit. A confirmation message displays.
  3. Review the withdrawal information, and click Continue if it is correct. Click Cancel if any of the information is incorrect.
  1. If you entered an unacceptable withdrawal amount in step 5, the withdrawal is automatically rejected. Click Withdrawal in the Navigation Menu to return to the Withdrawal page and enter an acceptable transaction.

  1. If the effective date and withdrawal amount are accepted, the confirmation page displays your confirmation number. The confirmation number is helpful if you have questions about this transaction later.
  2. To print this screen, click Print this page in the bottom right corner of the page.
